“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” (Psalm 62:1-2)

Youth ministry can often be about giving, serving and pouring ourselves out for others. This retreat is an opportunity to pause, be renewed and simply receive.

Join fellow youth and young adult leaders from across the Diocese of Wollongong for a day of prayer, rest and spiritual renewal at the serene and beautiful Jamberoo Abbey.

We are delighted to be led by Sr Magdalen Mather OSB, Benedictine nun of the Abbey, who will guide us through a day designed to nourish both heart and soul.

Together, we’ll step away from the busyness of ministry and spend time in prayer, silence, reflection and community, allowing God to restore and strengthen us for the mission ahead.

  • Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

This retreat is open to anyone currently leading youth or young adult ministry within the Diocese of Wollongong.
