Dare to love as Jesus loved—an invitation to pray Lent in with the love of Christ, embracing the compassion that calls us beyond ourselves. This grace-filled day offers a space to stand with Jesus and with one another as we enter this sacred season, a threshold into a Lent lived with intention, tenderness, and courage.

Presented by Sr Magdalen Mather OSB and Sr Julian Grigor, the day will be held on Saturday 21 February. You are warmly welcome to attend Mass at 9am in the Abbey Church, or to join from the first session at 10.15am. The day concludes at 3.30pm. Morning tea is provided; please bring your own lunch.

Sr Magdalen entered the Benedictine Abbey at Jamberoo, Australia in 1996.
Sr Magdalen leads retreats, both online and in person at the Abbey, and also offers regular centering prayer sessions, both onsite and on zoom. As cantor, her love of music and song finds expression in the praise and prayer of the Divine Office.
Sr Magdalen’s Benedictine spirituality resonates within the perennial wisdom tradition. She is passionate about contemplative practice, engaging in spiritual conversation which explores the depths within our tradition, and sharing affirmation, encouragement and practical tips, for those engaged on the journey of contemplative spiritual exploration and practice.
