Daily mass and devotions online

During this period of time where Masses in the diocese are suspended, it is important to know that you have not been abandoned by the Church. Members of the faithful are urged to keep holy the Lord’s Day by making an act of Spiritual Communion, a well-established devotional practice of uniting one’s self in prayer with Christ’s sacrifice when circumstances prevent one from receiving holy Communion. In addition to Sunday Mass online with Bishop Brian Mascord, there are a number of parishes and communities in the diocese and beyond celebrating daily Masses online.

Catholic Youth Ministry Wollongong through it’s Wollongong NET Ministries team are livestreaming Eucharistic adoration online every Wednesday from 6:30pm in place of Adoration—Holy Hour for Young Adults, which is currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

You are invited to join them online for praise and worship, scripture reading and an hour of prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. It will be an hour set aside for the Lord, especially during this time of coronavirus, as a reminder to bring all things back to Jesus.

Every Wednesday, 6:30pm
