Antioch is a Catholic Youth Group that offers youth an ongoing opportunity to listen, discuss and better understand what it means to be a Catholic today.
Antioch aims to help our youth develop a love of Jesus through an experience of community - a community where they are always welcome and where they can find a relevant and supportive environment.
Antioch is an opportunity to connect with youth all over Australia and the world. Since its Australian launch in Maroubra Bay 30 years ago, it has it has spread to all states, as well as to New Zealand, Fiji, the Philippines, New Guinea, Indonesia and Hungary.
Antioch meets every Sunday night at 7pm for youth ministry. It is a perfect way to become more active within the Parish and wider community whilst building lifelong friendships. Antioch also aims to give its members an opportunity to connect with other young Catholics through youth events such as World Youth Day, as well as providing opportunities to give back to the community through involvement in things such as parish music ministry and the Relay for Life.
Every year Camden Antioch hold a weekend to invite young people (aged 16 - 25) from the parish and beyond to take time out, reflect on their lives and make some friends. The weekend is run by Antioch youth for the youth and involves talks, music, games and more! It's awesome fun and we are so excited for it!
