This site offers one pathway for members of the Diocese to join in the pastoral planning process. It contains all the formal communications about pastoral planning from Bishop Peter to the Diocese as well as detailed information on the planning processes. You can find here foundational documents, summaries of relevant data and statistics, reports on consultations, drafts of recommendations, and agreed resolutions. Most importantly, you can comment on the various developments of the planning process as it unfolds in 2010.

This Advent I am announcing – with the same hope that inspired Mary and Joseph – a significant venture for our Diocese of Wollongong. Now is the time for us to work together to make new plans for a new future – to ask if we bring Christ to birth by the way we live? We need to pause, take stock and consider our journey ahead.
