STEWARDSHIP CORNER 3 March, 3rd Sunday of Lent
Please God we are not like the fig tree in Luke’s gospel that bore no fruit. As a Christian steward we are to nurture the gifts we have been given and return them with increase tho the Lord. Put simply, we must use the gifts God has given us in the service of our neighbour and our Church.

Each year, young people from across Australia give up a year of their life to join Youth Mission Team. This Team travels around to high schools and offers dynamic retreat days where these young people offer personal witness to what it means to be Catholic. They also support diocesan youth initiatives. They volunteer their time and so seek work for Mondays and Tuesdays in order to support themselves and their community. Three members of this year’s team in our Diocese are still looking for work on Mondays and Tuesdays. They have experience in areas such as retail, youth work, baby sitting and dance instruction. Do you know of a business that may be looking for these skills? Whoever employs them will not only gain their skills but know they are supporting the work of Youth Mission Team. Please contact Chris Brennan on 0433 636 359
