I WANT TO ANSWER GOD’S CALL... BUT:
It is normal to have doubts and fears about a potential call to priesthood and religious life. However, how much could you lose if this were the path which would bring you most happiness in your life? What does it cost to stir yourself, take courage and reach out with a question, a phone call or an email. You will be starting a conversation, deepen your awareness and maybe embark on an amazing purpose and adventure for your life. Why delay? Pray with God now for the courage to respond to Jesus’ loving invitation to “Come and See.” Contact your local priest or Fr Richard Healey, vocations director, on 0401 621 591, .

PRIESTHOOD – GOD IS CALLING:
Look around at Mass today, look around the school, look around the neighbourhood. The next priests to inspire and support our faith communities are among you. What may stir their hearts are words of affirmation from you. If you witness young men involved in prayer and with a love for our faith and community, take a moment to thank them for their engagement, “I think you would make a good priest.” When was the last time you affirmed someone in that way? For a young single man reading this, what is God whispering in your heart? Start a conversation with your local priest or Fr Richard Healey, vocations director, on 0401 621 591, .

STEWARDSHIP CORNER 2013 – 28th April, 5th Sunday of Easter
In today’s Gospel, Jesus gives His disciples — and us — a new commandment: “Love one another.” In the end, all that matters is love. Love is expressed most purely when we sacrifice ourselves for the well-being of others. Good stewards who spend their time and talents in service to others, are well on their way to fulfilling this commandment.
