SPIRIT ALIVE! DIOCESAN MINISTRY FESTIVAL – SAVE THE DATE!
You are invited to join the Diocese on Saturday, 26 May 2012 at John Therry Catholic High School, Rosemeadow to celebrate the many gifts and opportunities we have to participate in the life of the Church. This festival day with rides for the kids, 100+ stalls, music, keynotes, showcases and a whole array of food from the many cultures in our Diocese, promises to be a wonderful witness to the life and vitality that exists within our Catholic community. MINISTRY TRAINING.
Training for the ministries of Acolyte, Adult Server and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion will be led by Bishop Peter Ingham, Fr Sean Cullen, Paul Mason and Noel Meddows on Saturday 10 March, 10.00am – 2.30pm at St Michael’s Parish Hall, North St, Nowra. This training is intended for all who are interested in taking up a liturgical ministry for the first time, as well as those current ministers looking to renew their commitment. Bishop Peter Ingham will institute and commission ministers in regional celebrations during in June. Contact the parish office for an application form. GIFTEDNESS CORNER – SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT.
In living a Stewardship way of life we grow in trust that God will bless us with the necessary gifts to respond to the unexpected. Look out for the mountaintop experiences when God seems closer than normal. These are the times of great blessings when we strengthen our sense of gratitude and openness to be more generous.

SENIORS’ WEEK 18-25 MARCH 2012.
Who are the seniors in your family and in your parish? Seniors are acknowledged by our community to be anyone over 65 years of age. Some of our seniors are living longer, healthier and more fulfilled lives while others may have a disability, may be frail, isolated and lonely. This week can be a time for us as a Parish community to find ways to acknowledge, celebrate, value and support the lives of our seniors.
