WORLD YOUTH DAY 2012 – Madrid, Spain
It’s not too late! WYD is less than five months away but you still have a chance to register if you’d like to join the Wollongong Diocesan Pilgrimage. Our pilgrimage is visiting numerous pilgrim sites including Paris, Taize, Loyola, Assisi, Rome and Subiaco. Registrations and final payments must be completed by April 15. The Coordinator assists the Bishop in working with clergy, parishes and agencies to foster sound liturgical practice throughout the Diocese. MEMORIAL CEREMONY – APPIN MASSACRE.
Hosted by Winga Myamly Reconciliation Group to remember the Dharawal people killed in the massacre of 1816. Sunday, 17 April 2011 at Cataract Dam Picnic area from 12noon – 3.30pm. Sausage sizzle lunch will be provided. Contact Aunty Muriel Brandy 9605 4540 or Sr Kerry 9603 6854. As the ceremony involves a short walk to the site appropriate footwear, hats, sunscreen and bottled water are recommended. Feel free to bring a fold up chair. Event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

CELEBRATING OUR JOURNEY 1873 - 2011.
St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Primary School, Wollongong is holding a gala dinner dance on Friday, 20 May 2011 at Villa D’oro Function Centre. 6.30pm for 7.00pm. Tickets: $100.
