Advent-Christmas Program 2011 - Light Bearers

A six-week Advent/Christmas program for small groups, prayer companions, staff reflections, families and individual

Light Bearers offers three guides for the weekly journey through Advent to the Baptism of the Lord, including:

• A Gospel passage taken from the Sunday readings.
• A personal reflection by a person associated with a particular “branch” of spirituality within our Diocese.
• A segment from The Church in the Modern World, the Vatican II Council document which is the focus of our annual Vatican II Seminar.

The program is beautifully presented and features stunning artwork by our Year 5 and 6 students: works recently selected for the 2011 Christmas Story Art Exhibition and Competition. The program also provides links to many diverse spiritual opportunities, agencies, orders, groups and retreat houses.

The cost of the program ($2.00 inc. GST) has been kept as low as possible to encourage wide participation.
